An Understanding - Release Of Liability
As with most adventure activities, there are inherent risks involved. Each snowmobile participant must acknowledge this by reading and signing a liability release form prior to departure.
Driver & Passenger Requirements
Drivers must be at least 18 years of age and present a vaild driver's license. All of our 1 passenger snowmobiles are for single riders only. Passengers are allowed only on our 2 person sleds. Required minimum age of passenger is 10 years old. Driver Responsibilities
Operators are responsible for all damage costs. A credit card security deposit of $1500 is held for each sled until it is returned and checked for damage. The snowmobile rental fee does not include any collision, liability, medical, or propertry damage coverage.
Maine has very strict laws for snowmobile operators. DON'T BE STUPID, RIDE SOBER! Anyone under the influence of drugs, alcohol or demonstrating unruly behavior will be denied services without refund.
Cancellation Policy
Moosehead Motorsports reserves the right to cancel snowmobile rentals or guided tours due to inclement weather, foreseeable hazards, insufficient bookings or circumstances beyond our control. Full refunds will bemade or alternate dates offered in this unlikely event.

Snowmobiling Is Fun & Easy To Learn!
Our in-house snowmobile mechanic, keeps every sled in our modern fleet, in tip top shape. Each late model snowmobile is equipped with the latest technology for your comfort, safety and ease of operation. Electric start, hand warmers, electronic reverse and dual mirrors are all standard equipment. Moosehead Motorsports, is an authorized Ski-Doo dealer and we take great pride in maintaining the best running fleet in Maine. We even rent the new Rev models!!!
We provide a mandatory pre-trip orientation that includes snowmobile operating basics, safety and trail etiquette.
Orientation begings at 8:00AM. Please be on time Sleds must be returned by 4:30PM ( $50 per hour late fee ).
Advanced reservations for sled rentals are highly recommended, as many dates book out early.
Rental Rates Per Day 1 Person Sled: 180.00 2 Person Sled 200.00
We also have a limited amount of 600cc liquid cooled Ski-Doo Rev's available for experianced riders.
Rental price includes touring sled with unlimited mileage, helmet and trail map. Does not include gasoline or riding clothes.
